Philips Sonicare Essence Toothbrush Reveiw
The Philips Sonicare Essence is another member of the Philips Sonicare range. It can be really hard to keep track of all these different models, but one thing that is for sure is that they all do a fantastic job in making your pearly whites shine. This one the Philips Sonicare Essence sort of rides the line between budget and high end electric toothbrush. It has many of the features that the higher end Sonicare models have (including a few exclusive ones) But it is very affordable.
Probably the biggest claim to fame that the Sonicare Essence has is that it is the only one in the line that is angled. You may be thinking what is the big deal about it being angled. Well it actually can make a radical difference to the health of your teeth and gums. The Sonicare Essence’s angled head lets it get in there real deep in between your teeth in places that a conventional toothbrush simply cannot reach.
This angled head is also much more smaller than what is on the other Philips Sonicare models. This is part of what lets them get into those really hard to reach areas that can get some real bad plaque build up. Also it makes for a much more comfortable brushing experience. One I guess you could say criticisms of the Sonicare Essence is that the smaller brush heads as they fit in every nook and cranny they can get really dirty. So you will have to make sure you clean them good after each use.
Many other electric toothbrushes rotate and this can leave your gums red and really sore. The Sonicare Essence does not do this. What it does is nice and gently massage your gums. The first time you use this toothbrush is really a interesting experience. After just a few short weeks you will notice an incredible difference.
While the Philips Sonicare Essence offers a very great and unique cleaning experience even by the high Sonicare standards. It does lack a few of the flashy features that the other advanced models have. But at the loss of these you are getting a great electric toothbrush that can really make your smile brighter. So what it lacks in say a battery life indicator it certainly makes up for in its overall performance. It does have a timer and it will automatically shut off once you have done the dentist recommended two minutes of brushing. This is really cool as many people just brush there teeth for 30 seconds or so.
It comes with a really nice looking charging cradle. And a travel case ideal for those of you who are on the go. You can easily get around 30 uses before the battery needs charging. Overall this would be a great introduction to the Philips Sonicare series. If you just want a great toothbrush that will make your mouth nice and clean, but are not interested in all the bells and whistles then this is for you.
